One Way Link Building

In this article we are going to explore link building and creating both proper one way link building and link exchange campaigns. While the content of your website is one the most important factors in search engine placement and ranking, it is also extremely important that you obtain high quality relevant inbound links over time if you want to retain those high rankings. Getting a new website indexed is not really an issue anymore, but appearing for your keywords in search engine results is a completely different story. Link building campaigns, which are also a part of the indexing process, have to be done in a very specific manor or your website could suffer a penalty and drop out of search results entirely and be placed in what is commonly being classified as the sandbox. Although this sandbox effect has not been completely confirmed by any major search engine, most new websites seem to have a very difficult time appearing in top ten search engine rankings for there chosen keywords in the first 6 months of creation, unless very strict guidelines are adhered to.
There are basically two different types of links, one way links and reciprocal links. There are other more complex link building techniques but the first two are the major types that anyone with a website can get without treading too closely to the out skirts of the sandbox.
Reciprocal linking is basically a link exchange between two websites. Website one places a link to website two, and vice versa, and can consist of a text link or image ad between each website. However in recent months these types of links are being considered less valuable than a one way link by search engines. You might be asking yourself, “Why bother then?”, and of course that is a great question that deserves an answer. In the past a reciprocal link was simply counted as a link by search engines no matter what, so what began to happen over time was that totally unrelated websites exchanged links to manipulate search engine results. For example, a website about exotic cars was exchanging links with a website about house painting just to gain a link.
Search engines have evolved to the point that they now realize that a person searching for exotic cars probably doesn’t care about house painting, so this type of link exchange is heavily discounted. Search engines want to provide the best possible results in the top ten to there users, and as such a website with a few good relevant inbound links will now out perform a website with many irrelevant links. What this boils down to is a reciprocal link can still serve a purpose towards not only getting qualified traffic to your website but also search engine consideration if the two websites that link together are related in some way. An example of this would be if the exotic car website exchanged links with say an exotic truck website, or the house painting website exchanged with a home renovator website.
Not only will web surfers of both websites probably click on the link exchange, it will be a more qualified lead as they are both in the same type of niche category and search engines will recognize this. The easiest way to obtain this type of link is to visit the Open Directory Project located at http://www.dmoz.org, and type in some keywords related to your own website. The Open Directory Project is considered an authority to search engines so when the results are returned take note of all the categories, sub-categories, as well as websites it considers related to your search term. Then type in these new search terms into any search engine, draft a short and simple e-mail to the Webmaster of each website and request a link exchange. You will not always get a response back, but as stated earlier even a small amount of related reciprocal links are worth the effort for search engine rankings and valuable qualified leads.
One way links are external links from another website that point directly to any web page on your website and without any reciprocal link back. These types of links are more valuable on the whole than reciprocal links, and a quality one way link from a related website is considered a huge vote of confidence towards your website content to search engines. As such your search engine ranking placement will drastically improve as search engines start to consider your website an authority. Sources of one way links are forum signatures, commenting on blogs, web directory listings, and social book marking websites, just to name a few. As stated earlier though, these links have to be obtained in a very specific manner so as to look natural to search engines and obtaining too many one way links to your website all at once will most probably result in a search engine ranking penalty and hurt your link profile.
Now that we have discussed the different type of links and how and where to get them, it is time to build your link building campaigns. In obtaining both types of links you have to choose very carefully how and where your link will appear. As a rule of thumb you should only pay for links on quality websites, and avoid link farms, but if you are unsure which is which, avoid it altogether until you have a little more link building experience, as certain paid links are heavily discounted and can also get you a search engine penalty, and off to the sandbox your website will go. Link farms are basically websites or web pages that contain more than 50 external links on a web page and have little to no actual content on them.
This rule does not include web directories however, as most are legitimate seo-friendly web links contained within neatly organized categories that include a description for each web link, which actually makes up the content required by search engines to be considered legitimate. As there are many web directories that currently accept free one way links, we will now cover exactly how and what to do when submitting your link to them, as well as where to get the best free directory list below.
First you have to obtain the free directory list at info.vilesilencer.com. At the time of this posting they had a list of over 400 verified non-link farm non-reciprocal seo friendly web directories varying in page rank that are downloadable on an excel spreadsheet. Now open up Notepad or WordPad and fill in the details of your website as written below and then save the file.
Title (Anchor Text) – This should be based on your primary, secondary and third set of keywords. It is recommended that you use at least 3 titles and submit to the directories using 60% your primary keywords, 30% your secondary keywords and 10% your third set of keywords. Submitting in this manor should prevent search engines from considering these one way links as link spam and applying a filter. Try not to use unnecessary capitals because directory owners do not like them.
Description (Web Content) – This should be written in the third person with a call to action using your keywords, but not a keyword stuffed sales pitch. It is recommended that you have a least 3 descriptions consisting of 250 to 300 characters and tailored to your above selected titles. Submitting a well written description will not only improve your chances of being accepted to the directory, but will also assist the directory owner by providing him or her with the required web page content.
Keywords – Some web directories accept Meta keyword information so you should make a list that includes 3 to 7 of your most important keywords or keyword phrases.
Visit each of the web directory links provided on the excel spreadsheet and when submitting pick the category that best fits the description of your website and copy and paste the information in the file you saved earlier. It will speed up the submission process and eliminate things like spelling mistakes that are sure to be rejected by the directory owner. As stated earlier your link building campaigns should be done over a period of time as directory submissions are a part of a long term strategy, and getting too many one way links at a time looks like spam to most search engines.
It is highly recommended that you only submit to 5 to 10 directories a day as some have almost immediate acceptance, but most higher page rank directories take longer to get listed because of a back log of submissions. Once you get used to submitting you should find that it takes you no more than 2 minutes for each directory and your link building campaign will be finished with 6 weeks with a total time invested of approximately 15 hours.
If that seems like a little too much time invested on your part or you just want to simplify the whole link building process, we have recently partnered with G-Lock software to distribute a Free Directory Submission Tool that speeds up the process even further. Each directory submission takes less than 15 seconds each, after you set up your link building campaigns, and it follows each of the tips we covered above automatically.
It will also track and report on which directories you have submitted, how many are still pending, and how many have listed you and what anchor text was used for the listing. If you would like more information on this free directory submission tool visit One Way Links to download your free copy or to view a complete tutorial of the free directory submission tool in action, and don’t forget to submit your website while you are there, it’s a free one way link!

Social Marketing Strategy – Make

Looking for a social marketing strategy to increase traffic to your website? Why not start with the most trafficked social networking site on the Internet? Facebook has over 110 MILLION users from all interest and business groups… so you’ll be sure to find lots of people in your niche market.

This social marketing promise-land is made up of members ranging from the fast-growing 25 demographic to university students. If you devote, say, an hour a day to social marketing on Facebook, over time you can:

  • Increase traffic numbers to your website by the thousands

  • Get lots of relevant inbound links
  • Target your advertising
  • Advertise your business for free
  • Improve your SEO with news feeds
  • Get the word out about yourself and your products

You don’t need to have people looking for you to be successful social marketing on Facebook. The whole idea is for you to get social and go out and mingle with people of similar interests and ideas. When you start exploring Facebook, look into starting your own group and being a active part of other groups. Add your two bits and start lively conversations. This has the potential to start an incredible viral effect leading to a dramatic increase in traffic.
Social marketing on Facebook works because the members are passionate about this web community. They’ll comment about you, write about you, and even get you into popular bookmarking sites like Digg and Stumbleupon. Just one leader in Facebook who learns about you has the potential to dramatically increase targeted traffic to your website.
Besides socializing, you can increase traffic to your website by taking advantage of Facebook applications:

  • Social marketing with Facebook Notes: If you want to set up a Facebook page that will pull people back over and over, then Notes great. Once you install it you will see it on the applications list found on your profile. If you click on “mynotes” you will see a spot where you can add your RSS feed which will look something like this: http://blog.YourSite.com/index.xml.

    Once you start playing with your display settings, I would suggest having at least three to five headings showing to keep generating interest. Remember you need to keep this regularly updated.

    Facebook tends to have a morning rush hour — people come in to work and check Facebook. So think of your network’s time zone and try to have your something new in your feed by around 7:30 – 8:00 am.

  • Social marketing with Flog Blog: Another great application is Flog Blog which lets you add RSS items to your Facebook profile, displaying the headline and lead sentence, lead paragraph, or a set number of characters.

    Posts displayed in your Facebook profile can either link to your blog itself or to the Flog Blog application’s “canvas page,” within Facebook.

    It’s an easy way to post your news, latest blog posts, or what-have-you onto your Facebook profile. This can help you reach other people so you gain more visibility as your updates are broadcast to other Flog Blog members.

    It will net you more friends as well. Remember: in Facebook, people are watching what their friends are looking at. On top of that, you get to link back to your own website.

    If you don’t like the look of something (like where an application puts a link or shows a feed on your profile) you can change it later. Your main goal here is to just get the word out so you can increase traffic! Include your feed link just as you did with Notes. Put in a keyword-rich title for your blog (which it should have already) and a keyword-rich descriptive tag line.

  • Social marketing with My Box : You can add any HTML to your Facebook page with this great little app. So start with an opt-in offer to your email list. All you have to do is to take the opt-in code from your website, install My Box, and paste in the code so you can collect email addresses right from Facebook!

No matter which Facebook application you use (and there are thousands of them), make sure that whenever you’re given the “Link Back To” option, link back to your website or blog. Otherwise it will just default to your Facebook profile. And the whole point of getting started on Facebook is to send people to your site or blog so you can dramatically increase traffic!
So get in there and play around on Facebook. The rewards from social marketing don’t come overnight, but as a fun way to increase your website traffic and improve your SEO, Facebook can’t be beat.

Using PHP Functions to Make Developing Your Website Easier

When developing with PHP you might find you are writing the same code in many places on your website. This repetition of code can make things very time consuming if you ever wanted to make a change to that code. Thanks to PHP functions you can write the code just once for use anywhere in your application.
Writing a PHP function
It’s a good idea to have a separate PHP file to hold all your functions, that you include at the top of all your other PHP files. Your functions will need to be included in order for your scripts to be able to use them. Let’s look at what makes up a function:
function myfunction() {
echo ‘you called my function!’;

}
The function declaration is started with function and then the function name — in this case myfunction. The two brackets have nothing in between them because no parameters need to be passed (see later section). The contents of the function are then inside the curly brackets. The above function simply displays some text to the browser.
Calling a function
To use the above function within your PHP script you can use the following line:
myfunction();
Using parameters
You might need to pass variables to your functions for them to use. These parameter can be put in the brackets after the function name like so:
function myfunction($message) {
echo $message;

}
With the above function you can pass a value for it to use, in this case simply displaying it to the browser:
myfunction(’hello world’);
Returning values
You can also have your functions return values for you. Your function might do a calculation and you want the result back so you can use it somewhere else in your script. Take the following as an example:
function addnumbers($number1, $number2) {
$result = $number1 $number2;
return $result;

}
This function takes two values, adds them together, and then tells us the result. We can use it like so:
$item1 = 10;

$item2 = 4;

$total = addnumbers($item1, $item2);
The total variable in the above code is now 14
As you can see from the simple examples above, you can use functions to help you manage reusable code in your website easily.

The Homepage – Making Your Most Important Page Count

* Caveats: This information applies to business web sites only – personal, government, portal, or special interest web sites are not considered.
* The first page that shows up when you go to a web site using just the URL (www.thewebsite.com) is considered to be the Home page regardless of what it may be called. Some web sites call this page by other names such as “Welcome” or “Introduction” or “Entry” or even “Index”.
* There are always two types of visitors to your site that should be considered, people (actual human visitors to your site) and robots (automatic software, also called spiders, or web crawlers) used by search engines.
Why is your home page so important?
Your home page is important because it is the page on which the crucial decision is made:

Is this web site relevant?
There is so much information and so many web sites on the World Wide Web these days that the first decision made while surfing the web site always “Is this web site relevant?” Does it cover the topic I wanted? Does it have the type of information I need?
For example: If you are looking to buy shoes, you may go to Google and type in “shoes”. On the results page, you may find a site that is all about the history of shoes. While on the right topic, this site would not be exactly what you where looking for.
As a surfer, you will likely skim the home page and notice first whether the web site is about shoes. Then you will look to see whether there are shoes for sale on this site. If not – or it is not clear, then you may just move on to the next site in the list.
Search engines use your home page when evaluating your web site for relevance to key word searches. In fact it is the most heavily weighted page. If the word “shoes” is not on your home page, then your site may not come up at all in a Google result page for the search term “shoes”.
Other pages may well be used by both types of visitors, but often the crucial decision has already been made on the home page.
If your home page does not supply the information you think a potential client will need to make a decision to stay on the site or not, in a way that can be easily and quickly assimilated by both types of visitors, then your home page has failed its most important task.
If people never see your web site, nothing else matters.
Your home page is critical to both getting people to your site and keeping potential clients on the site once they find it.
Traditional advertising and business marketing is essential to the success of a business and must be included in every business plan. You should be driving as much traffic to your web site as you can by using traditional marking methods. Web marketing should never be considered sufficient on its own.
However, for most businesses, search engine optimization is very important. Search engines can provide a significant portion of traffic to a web site. But this can only happen if the web site is properly optimized. Optimization starts with the home page as it is the most heavily weighted page for search engine purposes.
What information should be on your home page?
“A concise and specific summary of the site, using as many key words as possible. The summary should include products and services offered, by brand name and in lay language. The primary competitive advantages or main distinguishing factors of the company should be mentioned as well. Any relevant restrictive factors should also be specified (ie wholesale only, or service areas covered)”. Contact information is also useful on a home page.
In other words – both people and search engines should, from the home page text alone, be able to determine if this site is relevant to their search.
Does the order of the information or formatting matter?
Search engines rank text on a first come first served basis. This means that the first text found on a page is considered to be more important than text at the bottom of the page. Formatting is also considered by search engines. Headings using the correct HTML tags are weighted more heavily than plain text. You should use headings and sub headings to organize and display your information according to its importance. Your headings should use plain, specific, key-word rich text. For people reading your home page, the same applies. Writing your homepage “in order of importance” and using headings to organize the text makes it easier for most people to read and understand the information presented.
Flash, Animation, and Images
What search engine optimization means is: “making it as clear as possible what the site is all about – in terms a search engine robot can understand”.
If you only remember one thing about search engines, remember this: Search engines can only read text. Search engines cannot read images, or text embedded in images, they cannot read text inside of flash movies, or understand voice over commentary. Search engines cannot read text embedded in JavaScript or text that is dynamically created when a visitor asks for it (text produced as a result of a data base call for instance). Search engines can only read text in HTML or in meta tags specifically written for search engines.
This is important because it is very common these days for web sites not to be written in HTML. Technologies like flash and Java script, among others, are now very common. It is hard for a layperson to know the difference, since web sites using search engine friendly technology can seem indistinguishable from those that do not. One useful test is “can you copy and paste the text from the web site to your text editor”? If the text is written in HTML you will be able to do this. If you can’t, then it is likely that search engines will not be able to read this text.
Limiting the kind of technologies that are not search engine friendly to non essential decorative purposes makes the most sense for a business web site. This way you can have the advantages of these technologies (cool graphics and effects) without any of the down sides (like poor search engine performance).
Is Load time still important?
Yes! Load time is still important. There is still a significant portion of people on dial up Internet connections. If your home page takes too long to load because of too many images or flash, your potential visitors may just give up and go elsewhere!
Getting to the rest of the site.
Every major page on your site should be linked-to from your home page.

This serves three purposes;
1) So that it is clear from a glance to real people what they can hope to find on the rest of the site.

2) So that as few clicks as possible are required to get to the desired information.

3) So that search engines can follow the links to the rest of the pages in your web site and index them.
Avoid the use of splash pages that have no text or page links to the rest of your site. These pages make it more difficult for search engines to index and rank the site, and they require people to make extra clicks and waste time to find out if your site is relevant to their search; moreover, they often negatively affect load time.
Making an Impact
Of course you want your site to look good and you want your home page to “make an impact”. But think carefully about what kind of “impact” the home page is actually making. Do you want your visitors to think, “Wow what an awesome web site? I wonder who the designers are?” Or do you want them to think, “Wow that is exactly the product or service I have been looking for! I am going to buy it right now!”
Where you may go wrong is thinking that potential clients are impressed with flash movies, animations, music, and other such bells and whistles, when in reality most people are more impressed, in a useful way, by a web site that loads fast, has well organized and complete information, and offers the product or service they want under favourable terms. -Really!
The one page web site. Better now than later.
In some cases a Home page may be all you need. Especially when you do not have the time or the budget to have a larger web site. It is better to have a one-page web site done now, than to wait six months or longer to have a larger web site created.
These days a web site is often used for simple look-up purposes. Does this company exist?

Do they have/do what I need?

Where is it?

How do I contact them?
A well-crafted home page can provide all of this information and at a very reasonable cost.
Additionally if you are planning to have a web site at some point in the future (and why wouldn’t you?) then having a one page web site will give you a head start with the search engines (who can take up to four months to index a new site).

Get Paid to Take Surveys – Is it Really Possible?

Companies who have programs where you can get paid to take surveys find that they are an excellent means of finding out about their product from the people who will actually be using it. Companies can also test their advertising or marketing campaigns to determine how well they are getting the information about the product out to those who would be interested. Paying people to provide answers to survey questions is far less expensive than the alternative of releasing a product and then finding there are issues with the design or packaging that could have been prevented.
Information
Of course, the major reason companies and researchers are willing to insure there are people who get paid to take surveys about the products and services offered by the business is in order to get information. The business may be looking for information about how well the product is recognized in a geographic area or amongst a particular demographic group. This can be information about everything from the color of the packaging to pricing options as well as the composition of the product itself. Regardless of the type of information required, surveys conducted online are perhaps the best way to ensure that a good cross section of people answer with information about the product.
Experience
People who get paid to take surveys and who have a positive experience with the product in question are more likely to spread the information to friends and family in their circle of influence. Companies are more than willing to pay to hear about your experience with their product, be it positive or negative. It is possible that problems that show up through actual experiences with the product in question can be easily and quickly corrected, which will make the product have a better overall reception when the full release takes place.
Geographical Distribution
When you choose to get paid to take surveys for companies, the business gets the benefit of a wide geographical and demographical distribution for information about the product that they are marketing or testing. If a company has released a product in a certain area for the purpose of testing how well it is received, online surveys help to determine the success of the marketing and distribution campaign. A company can find out of a product is selling better in one part of the country and can then take steps to determine why that may have occurred.
Targeted Audience
You can get paid to take surveys by the business or organization because they are looking a specific targeted audience for their product or service. They may also have the goal of finding a specific group of people with defined demographic information in order to have them participate in a marketing or research study. Those who qualify for the study can be determined usually with a few questions and only those who qualify will be asked to complete the larger or more complex survey. By doing the preliminary work online, companies can get good results very easily and quickly.
When you Get Paid To Take Surveys you will want to have the latest and best information about which companies are paying for the surveys and how well. You can click on http://www.goodinternetmoney.com/FREE_Report1.php for comprehensive and accurate information and what are the best free survey sites to join as well as a free report on more ways to make money online.

Five Deadly Mistakes That Newbie Internet Marketers Make

People new to the internet network marketing business world are the ones who often fail in their endeavors. There are varied reasons as to why this happens including making the wrong moves and using the wrong techniques. Learning the ropes of the trade, therefore, is the best thing one can do in order to avoid these career “killing” mistakes and eventually succeed in the business.
Selling To The Wrong Market
Sales are vital in this business. However, this does not mean selling to just about anybody you know. With being a internet network marketer, you should be able to determine who will use your products or services.
There has to be a specific group of people to whom your offerings are targeted towards and always make it a point to consider how your products can meet the needs of those people. Your produce must offer a solution. Without a target audience, you will find it hard to succeed in this business
In trying to expand your down-line, only get those individuals that have the right capabilities to help your business grow and succeed. Learn to determine the strong from the weak and know how to weed out those who can and cannot contribute to your team.
Spending Too Much Money Too Soon
Getting into business does not mean that you have to spend a lot of money right away. Take it from someone who learned the hard way. It’s tempting to shell out money too soon especially if you’re very excited about the potential of the business. However, the ideal attitude is to learn first about the different aspects of the trade before spending money on certain endeavors that may only prove useless in the end and which you will only regret. Educate yourself about the tools, books and trainings before investing your money in them.
Not Spending Enough Money
In internet network marketing, there will always come a time when you need to spend money such as on advertising or in building or improving your website. While it is not good to spend too much too soon, it is also not recommended to be tight with your money.
Be open about outsourcing parts of your business to get some important things done. For instance, you will need to create an attractive website to draw more prospects and educate them on your business. This is essential in networking which means connecting to right people who can provide you more profits.
Exaggerating A Claim
Promote your products or services as best as you can but never exaggerate. Keep in mind to say only what is true. Giving the wrong facts just to attract people is simply not the right thing to do.
Assuming Everything With Your Business Is Okay
In establishing relationships, theirs bound to be challenges. Transactions can be canceled or your prospects won’t show up for follow ups. You may also encounter problems with compensation especially when your company changes their plan or people won’t fulfill their promises. This is one of the pitfalls of MLM companies.
What you should do then is to let your prospects prove to you that they are serious and focused on partnering with you because your support to them is absolutely crucial for success in this industry.

Ezine Advertising

Ezines provide advertisers with highly targeted markets. Ezines are usually narrowed-down to a particular target market. All you need to do is identify ezines that cater to your target market and place ads in those ezines.
Benefits of Ezine Advertising
. Ezine Ads are highly targeted.
. Ezine Ads are very cost effective. An Ezine that goes out to 3000 – 4000 subscribers will charge you only $10-$30 for an ad.
. Ezines use ‘opt-in’ method of subscription. People who read ezines have subscribed to that particular ezine because they are genuinely interested in its content. Therefore, it is likely that most of them will read your ad and click-through rate (CTR) will be higher.
. Most ezines are archived online and many people read the archived ezine issues through search engines, browsing etc. So, your ad is read by many more people than just the subscribers.
. Many subscribers forward the ezines to their friends and relatives if they find something useful in it. Your ad is likely to be read by more people in such a case.
Types of Ezine Ads
1. Top Sponsor Ads – These ads are generally placed on the top of the Ezine and has a very good response from the subscribers. It is also priced higher than the other ads. There is usually only one Top Sponsor ad.
2. Other Sponsor Ads – There might be other ads like Middle Sponsor or Bottom Sponsor Ads in the Ezine placed at conspicuous spots within the ezine.
3. Classified Ads – Placed usually at the end of the ezines, they are more affordably priced and lesser read.
4. Solo Ads – An exclusive mailing containing only of a single advertisement is sent out to all ezine subscribers. Solo Ads are most expensive as your ad is the only content of that entire mailing.
Finding the Right Ezines to Advertise in
. Targeting is most important. Find ezines that cater to your target market.
. Check the number of subscribers/circulation. Place ads in ezines with at least 500 subscribers.
. Check the methods of payment acceptable to the editor.
. See the publication frequency. If you do not want to wait a month before your ad appears, advertise in ezines published weekly.
. How many ads does the ezine publish in one issue? Check this beforehand. If there are too many ads, your ad might get lost in the crowd and seen by very few people.
. Last but not the least, see the ad rates. Compare rates, number of subscribers and number of ads in an issue of various ezines and choose the best ones to advertise.
Effective Ezine Ad
An effective and compelling ad is essential for successful ezine advertising. Write or get written a compelling ad with a catchy title and brief, yet rich description within the guidelines of that ezine. Read carefully the terms and conditions, guidelines, maximum text length etc. and prepare an ad accordingly.
Experiment with different text ads by varying the titles, descriptions etc. Track your ads to see which title/description worked best and place future ads accordingly.
Hire the services of a copywriter and get your ads written professionally if you are not good at writing ads. A few dollars spent here will be worthwhile.

Double Opt in List Builder

What Is a Double Opt in List Builder and Why It’s Important?
A double opt in list builder allows you build a nice downline without creating the Tsunami of email you get when using safelists.
Upline & Downline
Before I explain what a list builder is, let me explain the terms “Upline” and “Downline”. In network marketing or MLM (multi-level marketing) your upline is the person who recruited, referred or sponsored you into the program. They are kind of a like a “boss” in that they can earn commissions from the work you do. Now your downline are the people who you sponsor, referrer or recruit into the program.
If your upline sponsor has brought in 10 other people (including you) and all of you guys bring in 10 more people and in turn those 10 bring in 10 more, you can see how quickly your downline can grow. Of course the really cool thing is that you can earn commissions from all those hardworking people in your downline!
What is a list builder?
Moving on, a list builder is usually a website or application service that lets you send out hundreds of emails to your downline or to other like-minded people (usually people interested in making money online or in Internet marketing of some kind).
But you can see just how difficult it would be to communicate with all those people. And how sending and receiving all those emails could quickly get out of hand. So a good list builder lets you send downline but you only receive messages from your upline! In a 10 layer system that means while your downline can be in the thousands, you will only get 10 or so messages per day from the folks in the level above you.
What is double opt in?
When someone signs up to join your downline, they have to supply their name and email address at the initial registration form. A double opt in list builder automatically sends out an email to that address. Now that person has to click on a confirmation link and must agree to join for the second time before they can be placed on the list. This is what is meant by “double opt in”.
Why is a double opt in list builder so important?
First a double opt in list makes certain that the subscriber really wants to join the list and start receiving email messages. This protects people who are “freebie hunting” and don’t really want to be on your list and when some prankster uses someone else’s email as a joke.
It also protects you, the list builder since you don’t have to be bothered with sending emails out to people who are not truly interested in your products or services. Or to prevent some crank who tries to signup his entire high school graduation class as an act of revenge flood your list with worthless prospects.
So a good double opt in list builder not only helps you grow a strong and responsive email list but it also protects both your and your subscribers from spammers and pranksters.

The real secret to huge Internet success is to publish or create your own product. And the easiest way to have your own product online is by publishing your own ebook. Literally anyone can create an ebook that they can start selling by tomorrow.
However, here is the biggest problem facing a budding ebook publisher – how does he find the ebook niches and topics that will make a splash in the market place and bring in bundles of cash?
Here are 4 easy ways to find ebook niches to squeeze money out from:
1. Browsing Through Magazines
Magazines are run for profit, so how you can use magazine for niche research is to keep a look out for ads that continually run every month. If the ad is continually running, it means the ad is usually profitable and you can be pretty certain the product it is selling is hot. See if you can create an information product on the topic. Example: You look through a stock investment magazine, and see an investment seminar is getting constant advertising in the magazine every month. See what topic the seminar covers and create an information product on the topic.
2. Looking Through Bookshelves
Visit a bookstore or just go to the online equivalent: Amazon! See what are the best sellers and what topics they cover. Look inside the book’s contents to see if you can find any ideas that you can use.
3. Looking At Other Products In The Market
See what information products are currently selling well in your market. One way to do this is to visit Clickbank and study their Marketplace. You can see by ranking which products are moving places.
4. Visiting Article Directories
Article directories are depositories for tons of quality information. See which articles are receiving the most traffic and see what topics they talk about. Perhaps you can create an information product on the topic!

How To Link Exchange

This one pertains to people who have websites. For those of you who do, you know that one of the most important things about your site is how much traffic you get clicking through.
There are many factors that affect traffic: SEO (how the site’s content is arranged to be Search Engine Friendly), Good information/copy, PPC Ads (pay-per-click ads)…discussed in a post below. But, perhaps most important of all of these traffic gathering factors is the number of incoming links you have to your site. But, getting incoming links is a large, difficult task…though there are ways to make it easier. Allow me to share what I’ve learned in 3 categories.
First of all, post as much as you can and often as you can to blogs, forums, etc. These blogs and forums will let you include your URL, which means every one you finish gains you an incoming link. This is somewhat time consuming, but very effective.
Secondly, and perhaps the most obvious, is to ask the top sites in your niche if they’d be willing to exchange links with you…which you can usually do via their “Contact Us” page. This benefits you in two distinct ways: first, you’re again gaining the incoming links, but secondly…those top sites are sites liked by Search Engines, meaning they’ve done a lot of things right, and having a link from them looks very good to a SE.
Third and Finally, Post articles on any topic about which you have knowledge. The best place to do this are ezine directories. These directories will generally accept a decent article, and there are some huge benefits here. First, you can post MULTIPLE articles to the same ezine. Secondly, each time you post an article, you get a chance to include your URL (that’s right…another incoming link). And thirdly, other ezine readers can take your article, if the like it and put it on their site…and…you guessed, your link goes with them as well.
Practice these few things related to link exchanging and you’ll see improvement in your website’s traffic, guaranteed. I hope this is helpful.
